The Atiwa Bird Conservation and Sanctuary Centre (ABCSC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to bird conservation, environmental protection, habitat restoration, tree planting, environmental education, and community engagement. Through conservation initiatives and advocacy, we work to protect avian species and preserve natural ecosystems for future generations. Located in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Atiwa Constituency.
With the rise of illegal mining in and around forest reserves and most communities, and birds’ habitats have become increasingly threatened and endangered.
Many birds suffer fatal injuries, while others are killed or left unable to survive in the wild. This crisis inspired the creation of ABCSC to rescue and rehabilitate these vulnerable creatures.
Through conservation initiatives and advocacy, we work to protect avian species and preserve natural ecosystems for future generations.
Support our mission to protect birds, restore habitats, and promote environmental conservation in Ghana.
